Public Health Resources for Graduate Students

This subject guide will direct you to resources of all types related to public health. Some of these resources are available through the IUPUI University Library, some through the IU Medical Library.

Indiana Public Health Information Network (IPHIN)

An extensive collection of resources for Indiana public health workers, physicians and nurses including public health alerts, CE opportunities, grant opportunities and hot topics like bioterrorism, tobacco, diabetes, substance abuse and other subjects.

Indiana Public Health Digital Library

The Digital Library is a collection of Indiana historical medical information that will be freely available online for public health researchers, historians, teachers and students. The Library will include full-text issues and an extensive Image Collection of photographs and drawings from the Monthly Bulletin of the Indiana State Department of Health, dating from the 1890's. In addition, public health statistics will be available for the state, counties and cities. The project will also include other historical materials from the Indiana State Department of Health and the Indiana Medical History Museum.
