NCBI Accounts (PubMed) Help Sheet – My NCBI can be used to create a personal account with NCBI databases, such as PubMed. You can use My NCBI to save searches, create auto-alerts, set commonly used filters, and more.
PubMed Searching Help Sheet - PubMed contains over 26 million citations for biomedical literature from MEDLINE, life science journals, and online books. This help sheet contains instructions for searching the database using MeSH and keywords.
Ovid MEDLINE Searching Help Sheet - Ovid is another interface that can be used to search the MEDLINE database. MEDLINE contains over 26 million citations and focuses mainly on the health sciences. This help sheet contains instructions for searching the database using MeSH and keywords.
EndNote is a software program that helps you organize references and create properly formatted bibliographies. References can be imported from online databases or can be typed in by hand. EndNote works with Microsoft Word to produce bibliographies and embedded references in hundreds of available styles. EndNote also makes it easy to change the style of your references. The following help sheets and links will assist you with learning how to use the software to carry out these features.
