Why Do I Need to Attend This
Training?
In the United States, the majority of persons who are aware of their HIV status are receiving medical care. By recognizing that STD screening, brief counseling sessions or even short prevention messages may affect patient behavior; the care setting can serve as a means of curbing HIV transmission in the United States. Reducing the transmission requires new strategies, including working with those already HIV-infected to prevent further transmission.
